Transfer Specialist

We are looking for part-time on-call help. This is a perfect position for someone who is potentially interested in a career in funeral service, apprentice, student, or someone who is retired but looking for a few hours. Extremely flexible, willing to work around your availability.

 

The ideal candidate would be hard working, reliable, compassionate, and a great team player. The job does require heavy lifting, stairs, and kneeling at times. Experience is not necessary, must have a valid driver's license and live within 30 minutes of the funeral home.

 

You will be responsible for assisting with transfers (bringing families’ loved ones into our care from homes, hospitals, or other facilities).

 

On call shifts are Monday through Friday 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 a.m.; Saturday, Sundays, and Holidays 8:00 a.m. until the following day 8:00 a.m.

 

On call stipend is $25 for weekdays, $50 for weekends (24-hour shift) and $100 for major holidays (24-hour shift). You will be paid $100 for each transfer that you are called in for.
