Herman-Taylor Funeral Home is a family-owned funeral home serving over 300 families in the Wisconsin Rapids area. We offer an on-site crematory, a pet crematory, and an upcoming Life Celebration Center. We’re not just hiring an employee—we’re welcoming a long-term partner to join our family-focused team.

We are seeking a compassionate, creative, and motivated Funeral Director with strong communication skills and a commitment to integrity and service.

Responsibilities include:

• Meeting with families to plan funeral and memorial services
• Coordinating services, clergy, and vendors
• Completing embalming and preparation according to OSHA and industry standards
• Maintaining accurate legal and financial documentation
• Participating in on-call rotations and community outreach
• Providing compassionate care to pet families

Qualifications:

• Licensed Funeral Director in Wisconsin (or ability to obtain)
• Valid driver’s license
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work flexible hours
