Locally owned and operated Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home is a single location funeral home in Waukesha, WI. We are looking for a Full-Time Wisconsin Licensed Funeral Director to join our team and community. This individual will be responsible for funeral arrangements and directing funeral/memorial services, embalming and preparation of the deceased as needed, and providing exceptional, detailed and compassionate care and guidance to families we serve. The ideal individual will maintain strong communication skills, demonstrate professionalism, empathy, strong communication skills, and a commitment to ethical funeral service practices.

We offer a competitive salary based on experience, health insurance, paid life insurance, paid vacation, and 401K with company match.  This position does require a rotating on-call schedule.

 

Interested applicants should be experienced in transfers to the funeral home, coordinating and conducting funeral arrangements and services, embalming and sanitary care, dressing, casketing, filing necessary documents and paperwork and familiarization with SVRIS. Additional duties/qualifications include maintaining funeral home facilities and vehicles as needed, assisting with creation of funeral stationary products (guest books, prayer cards, etc.), knowledge of computers and technology, maintaining a professional appearance, ability to work with grieving families and area churches and support and respect co-workers and funeral home affiliates.

 

Licensed Funeral Director – Full Time -Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home

 

Salary: Based upon experience

 

We are seeking a Licensed Funeral Director to join our team and community. You will be involved in every aspect of funeral service, including:

  • Meet with grieving families to plan and arrange funeral and memorial services at our funeral home or area churches.
  • Sanitary care and embalming of decedents taken into our care
  • Conducting and coordinating funeral, memorial and graveside services including arranging clergy, musicians, contacting cemeteries, etc.
  • Creating personalized and meaningful options for families and ability to work with software to create guest books, prayer cards, service folders, video tributes, etc.
  • Knowledge of Wisconsin SVRIS, computers and websites to maintain funeral home website and file necessary documents in accordance with state and local laws.

 

COMPENSATION

Salary will be dependent upon years of experience. Newly licensed funeral directors are welcome to apply.

ON CALL SCHEDULE

  • On-call weeknights rotate among the director team
  • On call every other weekend however, the specifics of the rotation are discussed during the interview process and are designed to work fairly for everyone on the team.
  • A weekday off is scheduled each week to offset weekend on-call obligations.
